Nord House is a monochromatic marvel. It might be located in Red Hill, the food and wine epicentre of the Mornington Peninsula, but this stunning home has all the calling cards of sleek Scandinavian design. Clean lines sit alongside contemporary pieces and plush furnishings to create a Scandi stay that's warm in winter and cool in summer.

This design darling has three impeccably styled bedrooms. A central bathroom looks like it's straight out of an interior design reality TV show. It has a freestanding soaking tub, too. The house comfortably sleeps up to six guests and there is ample couch and living space for everyone, as well as a cosy fireplace. When the sun is out, create a dreamy indoor-outdoor space by opening the French doors that connect the lounge with the north-facing courtyard. The outdoor area also has a dining setting and barbecue.

A dining table has room for your entire group and the kitchen – fresh from a recent facelift – is fitted with European appliances. Put it to good use by cooking up a Scandinavian-inspired spread using locally sourced ingredients. There is plenty of produce to be found within walking distance, or you could hop in the car and make the quick drive towards Main Ridge or Merricks North.
