You feel glamorous just walking into this sparkling white ocean view compound. Yes, you really are staying here in one of the smartest properties at Castaways Beach. Noosa Holiday House – the name says it all, really – is a pristine architectural statement about the contemporary beach holiday.Inside, modern and indigenous art adorns the walls and every room looks over Castaways Beach (a real find in the Noosa area) to the blue sea beyond. Nothing has been forgotten from big plasma TVs to the cosily sheltered entertainment deck and solar-heated pool. The master bedroom has a commanding view with its own private balcony; slip up there for a sundowner or to spot the whales passing by in season.
You can even bring the family pooch along, which is a rare treat in such an impeccably presented beach home. Despite the evocative name, Castaways Beach is only a few minutes’ drive away from the best restaurants and shopping in exclusive Noosa and Sunshine Beach. This is a perfect choice for a sedate and luxurious beachside encounter for up to six.
