Review by Beautiful Accommodation
A stay at Mornington Wilderness Camp opens a window to the extraordinary work of the Australian Wildlife Conservancy, an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to conserving Australia's threatened wildlife and ecosystems.Mornington is just one of 21 sanctuaries that AWC operates, each focused on saving Australia's most endangered species (one of Mornington's stars is the beautiful Gouldian Finch). Guests stay in spacious safari-style luxury tents with ensuites and fresh linen. Spend your time on self-guided day tours (notes provided), canoe spectacular gorges or book a guided tour with their naturalist guide to further enhance
your Mornington experience.
Beyond the stylish tents, the restaurant serves great food, wine and hearty picnic hampers. Mornington is unique in that AWC focuses on conservation work, with a visitor facility to educate and inspire guests. It has the only genetics lab in the Kimberley, making it a place of innovative research – find out more at a
free information evening. For campers doing the Gibb River Road, Mornington also offers a campground and the bonus of its restaurant.

I have visited here . I rememberd Dining at Mornington Wilderness Camp , The camp's Redtails Restaurant provides a pleasant setting for meals. In the evening, relax and enjoy a first rate dinner accompanied by premium Western Australian wines. Dinner is often followed by a presentation on the conservation programs at Mornington.
