The Daintree is a magical landscape that sings its song in bursts of vibrant birdcall, a chorus of frogs, tropical downpours and an array of mysterious rainforest sounds. If this is the type of setting you are seeking from an eco getaway, we have found the perfect place: Moo Bay Muse.This hideaway is polished hippy in its style, blending pretty mosaics, colourful fabrics and an eclectic music collection with meticulous presentation and attention to detail. The airy, open design embraces the enveloping forest and is self-sufficient in power and water – you won’t impact on the world while you stay here. The interior is cleverly designed with a loft bedroom and another private space downstairs and at every turn there are vistas to the gardens and rainforest beyond.
The name is apt. Moo Bay refers to nearby Cow Bay, a pristine curve of sand and lapping waves. Undoubtedly the Muse will resonate within your jaded soul as you reconnect with nature: that desire to sketch a tree or photograph a golden frog sunning itself beside a stream or just strip off for a dip in the water hole. You can even bring your dog. Peace.
