Orient-inspired seaside apartmentsIf you love the Gold Coast sunshine, its warm sandy beaches and tepid water temperature but want to avoid all the high-rise, razzle-dazzle, read on. The Ming Apartments at Kingscliff is just 10 minutes’ drive from the airport but serenely located on the appropriately named Dreamtime Beach. Here, life is low-rise and very family friendly.
The owners’ love of China is subtly highlighted in the Ming’s elegant works of art, furniture and porcelain without being overpowering. The design is ideal for families with children of any age. The three-bedroom ground-floor apartment opens onto a patio and lawn for the kids to scamper on. Upstairs is a four-bedroom apartment with wonderful views over Dreamtime beach and the same spacious proportions and high-end fittings. The top floor of Ming Apartments has an extraordinary entertainment area with ocean and parkland views, a billiard table, bar, table tennis and an entertainment system.
You can find coffee and good food nearby on Kingscliff’s Marine Parade. And of course, golfing, the hinterland and the bright lights and shopping of the Coast are all nearby.
