The two bedroom cottage has amazing views stretching across acres of vines to Westernport Bay and Phillip Island beyond. An added bonus is the fact the cottage is within walking distance to the award-wining Max’s Restaurant, the Red Hill Estate cellar door, gallery and produce store.
The other accommodation option is the original Max’s Retreat, in the heart of Red Hill. It is a sensational four-bedroom house close to shops and the market. This is a great place for a group getaway with a lusciously decorated open-plan living and dining room, plus beautifully manicured outdoor areas including a kitchen garden available to guests.
A private in-house chef is available (upon request for Max’s retreat only), while day spa packages and winery horse riding packages can be arranged. And if you love chef Max’s fabulous food and accommodation combinations at Red Hill, you will love his hosted foodie tours to Italy.Facilities

Having just returned from a fantastic stay at Max's Retreat, I am posting this review. There were 8 of us all together and this was the perfect venue for us to meet for a catch up, share wine, laughter and relax. The accommodation was simply brilliant.
The extra little inclusions made our stay comfortable and memorable - the well equiped pantry, fruitbowl, bread, milk, beautiful L'occitane soaps and shampoos, the warmth from the fireplace and the welcoming hospitality of both Marcus and Max. I recommend
taking up the offer of the in-house private chef - both the restaurant quality food and service made this a lovely experience. We will stay there again and am happy to recommend Max's Retreat at Red Hill to others.
