Some properties have either natural or man-made advantages that make them stand out but Limosa Rise boasts both. It is in a stunning setting and has captivating villas that were designed to frame the 180-degree sweeping water views across Corner Inlet and the mountain ranges in the background.Limosa Rise is designed for couples who love nature but want contemporary luxuries. For groups of four, we highly recommend the two-bedroom villa: each bedroom has an ensuite and is the mirror image of the other so there should be no fights over the “best” room. With so much space, the three villas are private and have been elevated to capitalise on their location.
The villas could well be called “retreats” because once you are inside you will feel you have escapedthe world. And what a fantastic place to watch the ever-changing weather patterns across the Prom – from your lounge in front of the wood fire, from your deck (complete with barbecue) and even from your pillow as you wake in the morning. They all provide sensational vantage points for nature’s free show. If you do need to explore, Wilsons Promontory’s gates are only five minutes away, plus Tarra Bulga National Park, Agnes Falls and numerous sandy beaches are all within easy reach.

My husband & I have just come back from 2 wonderfully relaxing days at Limosa Rise. The views were truly spectacular from our cottage, across the inlet to Wilson Prom in the distance, and although the weather outside was cold and raining we were warm content inside, with our cosy log fire. Andrew and Bronwen were lovely hosts - we will return for another 2 days of R & R as soon as we can.
