Discover picturesque Kakadu

There are three ways to experience Kakadu National Park: in a tour with the same group over several days (not everyone's cup of tea); drive yourself in a 4WD (precarious for many); or drive the bitumen to Jabiru and stay several days, picking out guided day-tours as they take your fancy. That's where Lakeview Park comes in.

Lakeview is a place for those who want some independence but with a truly knowledgeable staff on hand to advise and book tours. Here in the centre of Jabiru is a selection of lodgings to suit couples and families, making it a perfect base to daytrip out to the best of Kakadu.

Guests can choose from the very funky 'Love Shacks' whose architecture is inspired by a tent and each has its own private bathroom; Double Rooms (six to one building) which share a central kitchen and bathroom; and the very private two-bedroom cabins with private kitchen, lounge and bathroom. All are self catering and the lush surrounding gardens have BBQs. The designs were all conceived by the legendary Troppo architectural firm and offer tropical flair on a budget.
