Lake Weyba Cottages is a thoroughly charming escape for those who need time away from kids and the big smoke. It has made a name for itself as a venue for intimate weddings and as a bonding spot for groups of friends and couples. And why not? The Lake Weyba location is stunning with 20 acres of lakefront grounds, swimming lagoons and the odd wallaby grazing contentedly.The luxurious centrepiece here is the five-star Pavilion, a scrupulously indulgent, two-bedroom beauty that fronts its own private lily pond. Inside is an enchanting interior with canopied king beds, a vast open-plan lounge (that leads to the all-weather verandah) as well as a gourmet kitchen and home theatre. Don’t be surprised to find a guest bag with hand-rolled chocolates and other goodies awaiting you. The other eight guest cottages are cosy little enclaves of privacy surrounded by their own bush havens. We love the corner spas and the toasty fireplaces to warm lovers’ hearts in the evening.
Take time to explore the local area. Lovely Peregian beach is a five-minute drive and you are only 10 minutes away from the temptations of Noosa.
