The Daylesford area has long been synonymous with luxurious pampering, good food and its therapeutic mineral waters. It’s a destination that invites you to slow down and enjoy the feeling of pure relaxation. Naturally, to make the most of your visit, you will want a beautiful base from which to enjoy your stay and Lake Daylesford Country House more than fits the bill.The late 19th century villa exudes typical period charm from the front. There’s the white picket fence, the cottagestyle garden and the lacetrimmed verandah. But step inside and discover a world of French Provincial style.
Each of the four luxurious bedrooms features its own ensuite and individual décor, the country kitchen invites a lingering breakfast and the separate conservatory style dining room allows for dining indoors or the option of peeling open the doors and enjoying the outdoor entertaining space.
Perhaps the best surprise is left until last – the grand rooftop Mirador features panoramic views of Lake Daylesford and its famous boathouse in one direction, with the town of Daylesford in the other.
