Think of an exquisite Tasmanian country scene with an elegant European sensibility and you will come close to the experience at Kentisbury Country House. The setting could not be more tranquil. It is on a sloping hill, amid a beautiful garden featuring lavender, and within five acres of fi elds with contentedcows in the distance. There is also the ever-present view of the stunning mountain range beyond.
Being in the heart of Cradle country, the thriving artistic mural town of Sheffield is up the road, Lake
Barrington (famous for rowing and trout fishing) is close by, and Cradle Mountain is a very scenic 40-minute drive away. But once you step inside this beautiful house, you will be forgiven for wanting to stay in.
The gorgeous house and its idyllic setting make it a perfect choice for a romantic escape for two, or for group getaways of up to eight. However you travel, the whole house will be yours with three inviting bedrooms upstairs and elegant living areas downstairs. The country kitchen and dining room will be the scene of many memorable dinners, while our favourite feature is the superb conservatory sunroom
with its whimsical soaring roof. Kentisbury offers a unique Tasmanian experience and one we highly
recommend.
