Hosts Kim and Marilyn McCarroll offer guest accommodation in a completely separate wing of their magnificent homestead-style house. The three queen-size ensuite rooms feature polished timber floors and crisp linens, and are perfect for couples, families or friends.This is no traditional bed and breakfast. Guests have their own private entrance and the magnificent dedicated guest kitchen allows the convenience of self-catering. The hosts are always available if desired to advise on local touring. Guests can enjoy a delicious self-service continental breakfast at their leisure. And the resort-style pool takes full advantage of the hinterland views.
Just 12km from central Cairns, Jungara offers peaceful respite from the holiday throng while being close enough to town for further adventures. Reef tours, island cruises and the Kuranda Railway are all easy day trips from Jungara. This is also ideal when flying in or departing Cairns airport. Free airport pickup is available for stays of three or more nights.
