It’s not just the 180-degree ocean and mountain views that make this property so appealing, but thisoutlook across the famed Freycinet Peninsula certainly helps. Hazards Hideaway overlooks Great Oyster Bay and the Hazards mountain range from an elevated outcrop of rocks. With coastal bush land surrounds and absolute water frontage, guests can unwind to the sounds of local bird life and the crashing waves.
It is all too easy to settle in on the deck and watch the ever-changing scenery, perhaps with some local oysters and wine to complement the moment. Regular passing wildlife include wallabies, kangaroos and sea birds, or if you are lucky and time it right, you may even see dolphins, seals or a whale swim by. The beach for swimming, snorkelling and fishing is a short walk away, while the Freycinet National Park is just 8km.
You will enjoy this property all to yourself because the two freestanding villas are only let to one group at a time. Couples will love The Waterfront villa, with each room showcasing that incredible view. Friends can stay in The Boat House, which holds a first-storey suite with its own deck and breathtaking outlook. It all comes together to create the ultimate package for a relaxing escape that you won’t want to leave.
