Hannah's Cottage has a dreamlike quality that makes it an idyllic escape, one with just you and no one else. At this delightful hideaway guests are thoroughly spoilt with breathtaking views over the rolling Adelaide Hills.

So slip off your boots and step into a contemporary country setting that features aesthetic treats like the ikebana flower arrangements prepared by host Anne (she also speaks Japanese). There is even the aroma of fresh baked bread. Eat it with one of Anne's platters of regional gourmet delicacies, best savoured with a glass of local wine. A wood fire warms the cosy lounge and there is a kitchenette for cooking. The bedroom has a gloriously comfy bed (with admirable views) and a spa bathroom (with more views to revel in while you bubble away).

This tranquil eyrie makes a perfect base from which to venture out and explore the Adelaide Hills. We suggest taking lunch and a tasting at The Lane winery (which is moments away from the cottage), absorbing the charm of Hahndorf, or chancing your luck in the hills as you dip from art to antiques and gardens to gourmet delights.
