The absolute lakefront Eumarella Shores Noosa Lake Retreat has long been a favourite of ours. Its lakehouses are coolly contemporary in their colouring, fabrics and architectural unity with the surrounding Nature Reserve - the cottages simply ooze country charm. And since we last visited they have added the astonishing new Lake Pavilion ‘Gooloowaa’ (‘moonlight’ in the local Indigenous language).Gooloowaa brings a new level of sophistication to the Retreat, whether you take it as the ultimate pad for up to six or envisage its space catering for a stellar function, including boutique wedding or other celebration. It has absolute waterfrontage to Lake Weyba, which provides a perfect backdrop to the huge and intelligently integrated lounge, dining and deck areas.
There is plenty to do at Eumarella including free use of watercraft, BBQs by the lake or fishing trips and bike rides. It’s a great stay for kids, couples and celebratory groups alike.
Facilities
Six Contemporary and Deluxe Lakehouses and three traditional Lakefront Cottages (all with two bedrooms, some with spa) and one Lake Pavilion (three bedrooms, two with double spa). All with lounge (sofa bed, fireplace, TV, DVD, CD), dining and full kitchen. Laundry, BBQ, fans. Free water craft use; fishing and bike hire. Full breakfast provisions provided for first two mornings.
