The view from Esperance B&B by the Sea is quite simply a living postcard. Laid out before you in panoramic beauty are the islands of the Recherche Archipelago, floating like a string of pearls in an azure sea. Imagine seeing this view as you lift your head off your pillow in the morning, as you shower, and as you breakfast on the balcony.This purpose-built B&B is quietly hidden a short stroll away from Blue Haven beach (one of the most idyllic beaches we've seen). There are three rooms in the guest wing, which also has a lounge and dining and a marvellous deck with a breathtaking vista of the Bay of Islands. Breakfast here is a delicious treat, particularly host Heather Gee's homemade jams, fruits and cooked selections (tailored to guests' tastes).
Esperance is an all-seasons destination. Throughout the year beachcombing, nature walks and island cruises to spot dolphins and seals (and, in season, whales) are popular pursuits. We advise booking in advance for the splendid wildflower season, which peaks in September and October. Heather has lived in Esperance for many years and can advise on activities such as diving, fishing, dining and coastal exploration.
