You can barely see De Coudie Beach House from the beach, yet its views of Eastern Cove are breathtakingly beautiful. The setting is so private, yet you can hear the waves washing languidly on the sandy shore. And the sense of space in every room is liberating, yet the feel is warm and comforting. Here, among the trees, is a worldclass haven just waiting to be enjoyed.There are three wings to De Coudie Beach House: the living wing is elevated for the view and breeze and opens to a deck for dining and lounging. Three guest rooms, including the master bedroom, form the second wing. And the third wing – delightfully named ‘the bunkhouse' – is on the lower level and offers a marvellous space with four single beds and kitchenette.
Artworks animate soaring walls, furnishings offer comfort for a tribe of up to 10 and a log fire crackles in the winter months. Careful orientation and walls of glass draw in sunlight, making this a house for all seasons – a
stunning place to bring special friends.
