If you love the idea of exploring the beautiful bushland of the Grampians and retreating to a special place to unwind, Blue Ridge Retreat fits the bill. Surrounded by nature with no immediate neighbours, this property presents the ideal private getaway for a couple or two. It is close to many outdoor activities, but for those seeking a more indulgent, relaxed escape, there are also winery tours and spa treatments.However, this is the kind of place that will make you want to stay put. Cook up a barbecue on the balcony and perhaps follow it with a dip in the sunken spa in the main bedroom. Here you can gaze out at the stars and enjoy the romantic setting. The living area includes a gas log fi re, creating the perfect spot to relax with a DVD on the 42-inch Plasma TV, enjoyed in surround sound.
Take your place on the balcony and spot kangaroos, kookaburras, rosellas, and even the occasional deer and echidna. It all complements the amazing natural scenery of this area and adds to that feeling of really getting away. Enjoy the best of the Grampians region here, while indulging in contempory style.
