Magic holiday kingdomEvery child (or child at heart) should have the privilege of staying at the BlueGreen House near Byron Bay. There is magic in the air here. Why? Perhaps it is the painterly farm estate set on five verdant acres, stocked with adorable animals and with a beautiful lake as its centrepiece. Then there is the artistic sensibility that completes every line of sight within the house and the landscaped views it commands.
BlueGreen is the brainchild of artist Dolores and landscaper Simon, which explains its delicious ambience. The house is idyllically set on five manicured acres of trim lawns, garden nooks, a pool, a lake with a viewing platform, and pasture with alpacas and ponies. Kids love the space to run, swim and connect with nature. The grand estate house is wonderfully appointed and proportioned, and it offers treats such as handmade terrazzo spa and baths, a lavish master bedroom with sensational views over the estate and a stunning indoors-outdoors kitchen-dining-barbecuing zone that flows out to the poolside patio.
The accommodation options at BlueGreen are very flexible with plenty of space for up to six adults or extended family. All the delights of Byron Bay and Bangalow are nearby. But we know that once you enter this magic kingdom, leaving will be the last thought on your mind.
