Eco-tourists travel across the world to reach the Daintree but few ever experience its full pristine glory… unless Bloomfield Lodge is on their itinerary. This Lodge is still our most remote Queensland destination and we make no apologies for including it again: it combines an unparalleled location with a luxurious tropic design sensibility.The 17 retreats and cabins at Bloomfield recall the romance of rooms in a Somerset Maugham short story: all louvered glass windows, beds draped in flowing nets, cane chairs and the evocative contrast of creamy paints and fabrics with dark timber fittings. The restful interiors are beautifully offset by the collage of tropical green rainforest and azure seas in the distance.
The tariff includes all transfers from Cairns and the wonderful cuisine that presents fresh local ingredients with a dash of Australian flair. All you have to do is plan your next activity, whether it be snorkelling, fishing, walking or pampering in the day spa (click here to read our review).

17 ensuite rooms and cabins (queen or twin beds). Restaurant, bar, library, games room, pool, spa pool, laundry, day spa. All meals, return transfers from Cairns, river cruise and guided rainforest walks included in tariff. Bloomfield Falls, fishing and snorkelling tours and day spa available.
