Bella Coola was the accommodation of choice for the cast and crew of the television drama Sea Patrol, and the reasons are obvious: absolute beachfront location, stunning Dunk Island views and the flexibility to book just one or all three of these gorgeous one-bedroom cottages.Tofino is the original beach shack with front deck views over the Coral Sea. The warm rustic finishes and Calypso-coloured furnishings give this cottage a feeling of relaxed seaside holiday fun. Chilko and Lillooet, the two new cottages perched behind Tofino, have been elevated to ensure guests experience the soft sea breezes, and its warm natural timbers and wicker furniture create perfect tropical hideaways. The lovingly maintained gardens provide lots of nooks for quiet contemplation or just dip your feet in the pool and soak up the sunshine.
A short stroll through gently leaning palm trees leads to Mission Beach Village with all the holiday essentials and a relaxed cafe scene. And just a little further along, cruises depart for Great Barrier Reef adventures and visits to the breathtaking Dunk Island.
Facilities
Three cottages: Lillooet and Chilko are elevated, overlooking pool and garden. Tofino is rustic, overlooking reserve and beach. All with one bedroom (queen), lounge (TV, DVD, CD), dining, kitchen, fans, AC. Pool, undercover parking. Self-catering.
