Basia Mille means “a thousand passionate kisses” and is taken from a Latin poem dating back to 50BC.It’s clear the passion from the poem has been applied to the creation of Basia Mille. It is a stunning Tuscanstyle escape with extraordinary views across the property’s 11-acre vineyard and olive grove to the waters of Waratah Bay, the islands of Bass Strait and the mountains of Wilsons Promontory.
Add gorgeous stone terraces and gardens, a cellar door, a very un-Roman nine-hole recreational golf course plus a lake (fi lled with silver perch and rainbow trout) and the result is a very impressive getaway. Explore the region (we love the idea of a speed boat tour of the Prom), then return to a cheese platter and wine to enjoy that gorgeous view.
There are three luxurious apartments, each with their own entrance and style. Although the smallest, Waratah has a fabulous deck to take in that view. Oliv features olive tones and like the others, a marble bathroom. The premium apartment is Luscious, complete with elevated water views.
You will enjoy a delicious full breakfast in the villa’s dining room and access to the guest lounge. Pre-order a dinner to complete your slice of la dolce vita.

Why not put Sunday, October 30 in your diary to spend a few hours at Basia’s Cellar Door listening to the dulcet and mellifluous tones of Cassie Serpell on guitar and the strings of the Violet Code. We are providing a gourmet BBQ accompanied by delicious BM wines or local beer.

Most gracious hosts, peaceful relaxing apartment & environment, fun golf & the most delicious breakfast! I'll be back in January for another visit.
