Bushy mountain highFinding a place that will keep your crowd busy, active and very comfortably housed in a pristine bushland setting can seem impossible – that is until you stumble upon Banjos Bushland Retreat. We did and instantly loved the place. It has three impressive lodges scattered across a 20-acre estate set within a 1,000-acre nature reserve. It’s a five-star, AAA-rated property surrounded by bushland teeming with birds and wildlife.
The lodges are separate from each other, meaning you can enjoy it in serene seclusion or come as a group of up to 18 and have the estate all to yourself. Each lodge ranges in size from two to four bedrooms (with extra roll-out beds if needed) and they have been architect-designed for space and light. Each bedroom is indulgently large and all have their own ensuite. The splendid kitchens and outdoor barbecue decks invite guests to play Masterchef but you can also take it easy and eat at the nearby restaurant.
There is so much good, wholesome family fun to be had at the on-site recreation facility including tennis, mini-golf, billiards, ping pong and bushland strolls, not to mention the spa and sauna. Get a group and go – you’ll love it.
