In such short reviews it is hard to list all the reasons for loving the Bali Hai Resort. The location? Superb, just a pleasing saunter down to Cable Beach. The gardens? Exquisitely verdant as you would expect from an immaculately sculpted and maintained tropical resort. The waters? This paradise includes a tropical pool and a heavenly day spa (try the couple’s Geisha tub after a massage. Read our spa review here).But, of course, there is more. There are studios and one- and two-bedroom villas with a lounge and tropical bathroom (some with a freestanding soaking tub and outdoor shower). For those nights when you don’t want to eat out, a full kitchen allows you to self-cater. And all the essentials are here: cable TV, air-conditioning and wireless internet.
We must also rave about the design, which creates an intimate village feel. Paths and lawns join with tropical garden beds to fashion an enchanting setting. Each guest villa has its own entrance and courtyard garden (with undercover area and BBQ), leaving you feeling like cosseted tropical princes and princesses.
