Ann's Place has been a favourite with our readers for many years because of its location in the heart of old Robe town and its lovely views over Guichen Bay. And with the recent sale to hosts Andrew and Carolyn Dowling the baton has passed but the tradition of superb service continues.Guests can chose from four ensuite rooms, each very spacious. We love the suite with bay views and a deck – but all share a fresh, bright interior style. The heart of Ann's Place is the sundrenched guest lounge and dining room with more glorious bay views.Here breakfast is served at individual tables and Carolyn and Andrew strive to serve local and South Australian delicacies whenever possible. There is something very relaxing about tucking into a hearty feast while admiring the sparkling waters of the bay.
The hosts have a wealth of knowledge to share, including local history, dining, wineries and walks and they love sharing tips with guests who want advice. Whatever your exploratory interests, you'll love returning to this haven at the end of the day with its garden pergola and roses.Facilities

Stayed here the first weekend with new owners. Fantastic hosts and looking forward to seeing their progress on changes they make. Hope to get back there before the busy season as the location is fantastic.

Spent a weekend here in September 2011.Fabulous hosts,Robe a great spot to stop, plenty to do and the Dowlings give it that extra caring touch. The room was spacious and ensuite roomy.
