There is no better place to gaze at the snowy slopes of Perisher Valley than from Marritz Alpine Inn's heated indoor pool. As you wallow in the steaming waters after a hard day on the pristine slopes, all the aches and pains seem to seep away. It's a glorious feeling.
Old snow hands worship the Marritz because of its front-row location – within 250 metres of the main slopes, the new chairlift and village amenities. But we love its European ambience, with a number of rooms enjoying glassed-in balconies that make lovely suntraps from which to view the snowy scene below.
Needless to say, The Marritz offers accommodation options for everyone from families to snow-hound couples. Mums and dads will love the kids club and special meal times for the children. Better still, the daily rate includes breakfast and a well-deserved dinner  in the Gallery restaurant. And over a drink at the bar, expect the best ‘insider' snow tips from fellow guests.
