With a glorious vista of undulating farmland, frolicking lambs and lush valley vineyards framed by misty mountains, it's easy to see why Everview Retreat topped its class in the NSW Inland Tourism Awards. Although blessed with fine modern comforts, the rustic Welsh ambience of these two unique stone cottages takes you back to a simpler, more relaxed era.
The cottages are the lovingly designed creations of the owners, who wanted them self-contained, filled with light and openly spacious. Gwynfyd (Welsh for ‘bliss') is a romantic one-bedroom spa cottage and Tawelweh (‘serenity') has two bedrooms that suit two couples travelling on a road trip. The private entertainment decks are perfect for an evening barbecue.
The local district has some impressive attractions. There are 36 vineyards on your doorstep, nearby Cowra has a wonderful art gallery, and don't miss the epicurean  delights at Neila restaurant (a favourite of Gourmet Traveller). But why not bring back some of the fine local produce to savour at Everview' This is a real find that offers exceptionally stylish comfort and serenity.
