Cloudgap is a truly enchanting bushland bed and breakfast that is ideal for couples who yearn for peace, privacy and romance. After you pass through Cloudgap's secure gate, your only bother will be choosing what to have for your cooked-to-order breakfast, which includes steaming pots of fresh leaf tea or rich, ground coffee.
The three private bedrooms – Romance, Sunrise, Nightfall – are gorgeously individual. Each has a secluded balcony where you can sit and watch kangaroos graze and a peacock strut in the dreamy twilight. Those fleeing the chaos of the big smoke will love the relaxing ensuite hydrotherapy spas. For others, the sheer tranquillity of Cloudgap's 150-acre bushland setting will melt away any accrued stresses. And the huge, comfy king-size beds make a wonderful stage for a sensational night's slumber.
If you fancy venturing out, Orange is only a short drive away, with its restaurants and  vineyards specialising in cool-climate wines. Otherwise, stay in, read a book and relax. In the evening, be sure to treat yourself to one of Tony's hearty home-cooked dinners or suppers – which are refreshingly always available.
