Azjure Studio Retreat
Vineyard In Full Bloom: Azjure studio retreat not only looks over the beautiful Ballandean Valley, it has its own beautiful pinot noir vineyard right behind the luxurious spa studios. The vineyard - which at around 30 years old is possibly the oldest patch of pinot noir in the district - was neglected for many years. Azjure's owners worked tirelessly to bring it back to life and their efforts have paid off with lots of vigorous new growth. It promises to yield a fine harvest of grapes next year, and soon there might be Azjure pinot noir wine to try when you stay. The wildlife is also a great attraction at Azjure, with kangaroos grazing in front of the spa studios - you might be lucky and see a little joey's head peeking out from its mothers' pouch.
