The potential of this historic gem was lost on everyone – except one very creative urban couple. Up stumps and move to the country? Rebecca Gannon and her husband Russell Griffin did, and the result is utterly enchanting.This incredible building was an old butter factory. What has happened since Rebecca and Russell took over is nothing short of amazing and has made the Euroa Butter Factory a destination in itself. The historic past is still present, but the renovation features contemporary design while the interiors are a subtle blend of country, urban and Asian decorator influences. It all works beautifully.
You can choose from several rooms (we love the large suite with red double doors) and relax in the guest lounge and dining hall. If a wedding, birthday or celebration is on the cards, there’s a function room for up to 100. We think any excuse will do for a visit – with friends, to get married, celebrate or just hide away for a few days. This is an evolving story too – expect to see more accommodation added to renovated warehouses.
Facilities
Three queen rooms with ensuite, two queen rooms with share bath (or book privately); all with AC. Guest lounge, bar, courtyard, function room. Full breakfast served on weekends, accommodation only midweek (breakfast and dinner by arrangement). Massages available.
