Turn off the main road onto a leafy street and you’ll discover the lovely gardens that shelter these two gorgeous retreats. The two picturesque cottages are well separated by lush greenery and fit so well with their environment, they seem to be part of it.Candlelight Cottage is the larger with two bedrooms, a spacious lounge and dining area, and rustic country kitchen. The open fireplace and big, comfy couch beckon in the cooler months, while on warmer days there is the outdoor area and BBQ to enjoy. The nostalgic ambience of this 1880s cottage is highlighted by the rich tones of exposed brickwork, polished timber floors and leadlight windows – though the spa and espresso machine are necessary modern indulgences!
Cottage in the Village is just as charming, and designed especially for one couple at a time. There’s a dreamy canopied bed alongside a spa (over which the glass roof lets in diffused light from sun, moon or stars), and the private courtyard is a top spot for morning coffee. With its own kitchen and sitting room, this cottage is just perfect, but then so is its neighbour.

One one-bedroom cottage and one two-bedroom cottage (queen and double): both with full kitchen (coffee machine), spa, bathroom, lounge (open fire, TV, DVD, CD, AC), courtyard, BBQ; WiFi. Full breakfast provisions provided.

Have stayed at the Candlelight Cottage twice, and each time was always excellent...My husband and I have our 18th Wedding Aniversary in August, and we have booked and planned to stay at the adjoining Cottage in the Village...We are so looking forward to this weekend away. The hosts are just so friendly and helpful.....Cheers Candlelight Cottages....Mario & Dianne
