Dating from 1880, Waratah Brighton is a haven of European sophistication in one of Melbourne’s most stylish beachside enclaves. Hosts Brigitte and Harry Orth have created a hideaway that is notable for its richly furnished haute bohemian interior style – it is easy to see Brigitte’s influence as a professional colour futurist.There are several room choices at Waratah catering for single business travellers and holidaymakers alike. In particular, we love the apartment that offers two bedrooms, ensuite and sitting area tucked away in the garden with pool views. By arrangement guests can also enjoy an in-house massage, a therapeutic hydrotherapy spa in the landscaped gardens and cheese or antipasto gourmet platters.
Whether you stay for business or leisure, you will be treated to a complete four-course European-style breakfast impeccably presented: a scrumptious and memorable start to the day.
