Yeranda at Barrington Tops and Noonameena
Barrington Tops

Review by Beautiful Accommodation
Stretching out from the beautiful Barrington Tops foothills is the breathtaking Yeranda property – 57 hectares of unspoilt Australian bushland. Hosts Ros and Kevin have created a sanctuary for native animals (officially a wildlife refuge) and for holidaymakers who long to run away from everyday life and unwind in this patch of paradise. The three rustic hand-crafted cottages are each tucked into their own private pocket ensuring seclusion (perfect for enjoying the uniquely decadent outdoor shower for two). And to ease your carbon conscience, solar panels and passive design have been utilised. Nearby, the five-bedroom Noonameena Homestead is perfect for group get-togethers and Kevin has even built two cute toddler beds for the under-sixes in the party.
Gather the family around your own private camp fire, marvel at the Milky Way and take the time to enjoy some conversation without any interruptions. And if a small wedding is on the horizon, why not escape tradition and elope to Yeranda – and bring your friends with you' There's enough space for everyone at these two properties.

We have stayed at Yeranda many times and at Noonameena, the largest house of Yeranda a few times. It is in the most beautiful setting. Fantastic with a large group. Great facilities inside and out. Great times sitting outside under the stars by the fire and the outdoor shower is magic. Just can't get enough of the whole Yeranda experience.

We have recently returned from a simply outstanding trip to Noonmeena. Eating in the evening with the wallabies close by, picnicking beside the nearly creeks, cycling into Dungog combined to produce the perfect antidote to the normal hussle and bussle. The views and tranquility were superb. Kevin and Ros were excellent hosts, they have a unique ability to attend immediately to all our needs whilst not imposing in any way. Their charm and kindness along with all Noonameena's attributes will ensure a speedy return.
